With the ongoing changes of websites online because of better web technologies, we, the adventurers of all mighty internet must equip ourselves with the right tools to do so.  It was only a matter of time before we had another talk about what browser we enjoy using.  I tend to shift into what works and what works fast.  With the major players out there like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Opera….I can’t help but turn to Google’s Chrome for my internet needs.  Ever have try to time how long your non-Chrome browser takes to start up? Well Chrome’s startup speed gets you online with the least startup time!  And once it’s up and running, it runs like a gem. It runs with a javascript engine to run those fancy websites without much of a lag. The simple style allows you to keep the screen real estate you should be viewing rather than giving it up to bothersome toolbars and addons.  You’ll start to notice this in your browser trend as new versions of your browser come along.  Additionally, Chrome has the ability to drag and drop tabs in and out of window groupings. This is very helpful when you need to work on different views of sites or just want to have things in separate tabs.  And for those of you who are paranoid of what gets saved to your computer for websites you visit, you still have the ‘incognito‘ window mode to provide that peace of mind.  So what else can you expect from Chrome? Well, it continues its ongoing support of HTML5.  With projects like Chrome Experiments, Chrome is pushing the limits on a combination of web technologies. Check out Arcade Fire’s new video experience, The Wilderness Downtown, for their new song “We used to wait” using Chrome. Your web experience does change when things work as they should!  So, if you aren’t using Chrome yet, give it a try: Get Google Chrome!

And just because you might still be stubborn to convert, I’ll just mention a few positives of the other browsers. Firefox – FIREBUG & addons.  Opera – Safe and second fastest, bleeding edge browser components. Internet Explorer – Good for downloading Chrome. Safari – For those of you who know me…If you use Safari, I’m sorry.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to work on my personal site and my side projects.  This time I decided to come back with WordPress  instead continuing to work on the previous version of my site which I wrote from scratch. I’m running a really good looking theme and am excited work on this version of the site. Well, enough for now…I’m back and ready to get good stuff up on here!
